ABSTRACT

Administration and Members of an exclusive organization are missing events. There needs to be someway to remind members of upcoming events within an automated and scalable means. Management and membership have agreed that its a taxing effort to call all of the members and get them to verify if they will be attending. They needed something simple to deliver an audible message to selected members easing time and efforts to complete the distracting verifications.

Many of the members are busy executives with full schedules. So it's not uncommon for a meeting or an event to be missed due to lacks of communication. To solve the organization's issues with communication efforts, I conducted interviews with membership to see what could alleviate the pain of even misappropriations. The interviews reveal that both client and user agree that a simple quick call reminding of them events would go a long way.

THE SOLUTION
/LEVERAGING THE POWER OF VOIP

A simple solution is to utilize a messaging system that will contact the user via a phone call containing a recorded message with all pertenant information of events and other communications that need to be delivered in a timely manner. Since the sender, as well as, the receiver want the freedom of carrying out their busy lives, delivery of the messages will have be a managed and automated function utilizing Twillio Voice's fantasic means of sending mass VOIP phone calls hosting the recorded message. With this message delivery the user has an opportunity of answering the call normally to listen, allowing it to go to voice mail, or even dialing in to listen to the message if by chance they have missed the call.
